Laura’s local studio first opened in 1998. As a new mother, Laura discovered what all parents realize after bringing their first baby home, and chose to name her studio “Heaven’s Gift photography” accordingly! Laura’s uncanny ability of capturing true and genuine expressions in children is her classic signature, and your treasure of a lifetime. Initially Laura focused her photography exclusively on babies and younger children. As her clientele children’s grew, as well as her own, she added her artistic flair to teens, high school seniors, and in 2007, her first bride-to-be and wedding day celebration! She absolutely loves working with couples and families, whether they are expecting their first child, high school is coming to an end, or they’re planning an event of a lifetime!
Laura is an internationally renowned photographer specializing in exquisite, candid heart-warming portraiture. In 1999, Laura’s artistic vision gained worldwide recognition when she was selected to exhibit in the New York City International Licensing Show. Since then, her work has been licensed and published internationally. Raised in Minnesota’s small community of St. Anthony Park, she is a 5th generation artist in her family. As a child, she was immersed daily in countless art mediums, from sculpture and watercolor to pottery and photography. Laura has won multiple national awards for her warm, inspiring, and candid approach to photographic artistry.
